was this fun!
Tutka Bay, Alaska, near Homer. Fishing on Don and Lani
Kassube's boat.
Naturally, Elna's halibut is bigger than mine!

We stayed with Mary Jane East the first few days.

Our main reason for the Alaska trip was to go to Vicky Balich's daughter Kelly's wedding.

What a great setting, next to Campbell Creek!
Don and Lani Kassube were our next door neighbors
in Anchorage for 13 years.
Don and Lani took us to Homer for a few days
with their daughters Dawn and Heidi.
About a hour out of Homer on their boat, we
crossed Kachemak Bay and found their "cabin"
hidden in a gorgeous cove, accessible only by boat.
That's McDonald Spit in the background,
about 10 minutes from the cabin.
Looks like hard work, doesn't it?

This little beach is right in front of the Kassube's
cabin.
Homer is behind the islands and across Kachemak Bay.
