California again in 1997

In April, we headed for Las Vegas to meet Karl and Jana Kolthoff.
On the way down, we stopped in Bend, Oregon for a bit of skiing at Mount Bachelor.
Friends from our old Alaska days, Roger and Jeanne Hammers,
invited us to stay at their home in nearby Sunriver.

Arizona was our next stop.
Our old camping and fishing buddies, Jeff and Karen Acton,
live in Kingman. Here's a shot of their family:

Yep! Nope!

Justin finished his summer classes at Washington State University
in Pullman in August. We picked him up in our camper
and headed south again for some favorite camping spots.
